The euro is trying to steady itself around $1.2560, but is struggling to hang in around that level. The low end of that range puts it down on Wednesday's global session by about 1% against the dollar. The euro hasn't ended a day with a 1% loss or greater since March 9. On that day, the euro dropped 1.2%. The common currency touched a 22-month low Wednesday amid growing worries about a Greek exit from the euro zone. The euro is down to $1.2556 in its most recent trade from $1.2684 late Tuesday, according to EBS via CQG.
