US dollar briefly dipped but rebounded quickly after weekly jobless claims were little changed, and durable goods orders in April were better than expected. USD was at Y79.43 from Y79.42 before the goods report, according to EBS via CQG. Euro also steady at $1.2570 from $1.2563. The US indicators unlikely to be a driver today, with markets still sensitive to developments in Europe.
