While everyone was closely watching the euro-Swiss franc cross as it surged higher, the US dollar also did the same against the franc. In fact, USD rose during the recent frenzy of trading to its highest level against CHF since February 2011. USD traded up to CHF0.9595 a few minutes ago; it's currently at CHF0.9576, up from CHF0.9549 late Wednesday, according to EBS via CQG.
