EUR May Fall If ECB Doesn't Ease - Sumitomo Mitsui

The EUR could fall if the ECB takes no additional easing measures at this week's policy-setting meeting amid the still-dismal outlook over Europe's debt problems, says Osao Iizuka, head of FX trading at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank; "there are some expectations that the ECB may cut its rates or take some easing measures. So if it doesn't, the euro may decline," he adds. The EUR/USD is at 1.2415 and the EUR/JPY is at 97.05.
