UBS economists look at voting patterns and economic data and see an odd advantage for President Barack Obama heading into the election: "States that traditionally vote Democratic have seen the least improvement in their labor markets while the so-called swing states have done much better on average." Obama is likely to win the blue states no matter what, while the swing states are up for grabs.
