Bunds Open Stronger

Bunds open the session sharply higher, clawing back a large part of Tuesday's late losses in Europe as uncertainty surrounding Spain and Greece fuels the risk-off rally. US Treasurys also rallied sharply in late US trade, and held their gains in Asia, on weaker equity markets as many stocks started to trade without dividend rights, according to Commerzbank. EUR5B 10-year Bund re-opening lies ahead Wednesday morning, and it should attract demand in the current climate despite the 'technical failure' at the last sale 3 weeks ago. December contract was 0.69 higher a while ago at 140.75 and 10-year cash yields 1.525%.
