The Czech koruna trades a touch firmer, with EUR/CZK at 24.540-24.555, from 24.585 late Monday. EUR ekes out gains against USD and yields on sovereign debt in the euro zone inch lower, together boosting risk appetite in central Europe, despite equities trading lower, a trader says. The koruna also is supported by the slightly better-than-expected Czech current-account balance in July, which showed a deficit that was narrower than had been forecast. Later in the session, EUR/CZK will continue trading on European sentiment amid a dearth of market-moving Czech news, the trader adds.
