Electronics exports probably contracted, following six consecutive months of mild expansion," says an analyst at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch. Measured on month in seasonally adjusted terms, exports likely shrank 0.7% in August following a 3.6% contraction in July, according to nine estimates in the same poll. The government will release August exports data at 0030 GMT on Monday, Sept. 17.
