Morgan Stanley goes long USD/JPY at 77.75 with a target of 82.00 and a protective stop at 77.25. The bank says while the current broadening of risk appetite suggests possible downside pressure, it should be limited by the prospect of policy action from the Japanese authorities. USD/JPY now at 77.90, the bank says a break above 79.30 would trigger a renewed positive signal.
