RBA Will Likely Cut Again In November

The RBA will likely cut again in November but hasn't changed its overall outlook and is instead tweaking policy at the edges to ensure it stays ahead of the curve, says Macquarie Economist Brian Redican, who had forecast the RBA's cut; "I still think the RBA is looking at the world with a glass half full perspective and another 25 basis point rate cut is the most we can hope for in the short term." He says the danger for the RBA is that the AUD still stays high, despite the cut; "the risk is we get into a frustrating feedback loop."
