Alicia Keys

Inspired by her two year old son, U.S. soul singer Alicia Keys has created a reading app for kids. In the center of the application is the written story of Keys "The Journals of Mama Mae and LeeLee" in which it's about a girl from New York and her wise grandmother. The 14-time Grammy winner was initially considered to implement the story in a TV show or a movie before they've opted for the app.
The possibilities of application are limitless, said Keys. With this, the children can read, among other stories, play music and take notes. The roots of the project lie in the family of Keys. "The story reminds me of my own past, for example the music as an important part of my life, the city of New York, just everything," says the singer.
