German linker should be digested easily, says Citigroup, ahead of Wednesday's EUR1B auction of the 0.75% April 2018-dated inflation-linked Bobl, as the size is small. This is likely to be the country's last linker auction this year, while this particular linker Bobl hasn't been reopened since June. "German linkers have underperformed peers and risky assets in recent months," say Citi strategists Aman Bansal and Jamie Searle, adding that breakeven wideners look attractive for those expecting risk appetite to pick up.
