Brazil's stock market is attracting a lot of investment after the Fed announced another round of asset buying to pour cash into the US economy, according to Mauricio Gaioti, a trader at the OM brokerage in Sao Paulo. The Ibovespa stock index rose 0.9% to 62525 in mid-day trading, while the real strengthened to BRL2.0132 to the dollar, after exiting active trading at BRL2.0192 Thursday. Ibovespa has closed higher in each of the past six sessions and looks set to do it again today. Improving outlook for economic growth in Brazil is also boosting foreign direct investment inflows, Gaioti said.
