The hair root can normalize. Finasteride is taken once daily in pill form, and looks even slightly stronger than minoxidil. Minoxidil is applied twice daily as a lotion to the scalp and causes vasodilation in the scalp, resulting in a better blood circulation. The effects of minoxidil are often unsatisfactory. Stop Hair Loss

They are found in clumps in the hair brush, on the pillow, in the shower drain: loose hair! Many women worry that their hair is thinning - and without disease or hormonal changes. We spoke with an expert and tell you what this is all about and if you can stop hair loss.

A full head of hair - the pride of every woman
For many women, makes a full mane Walle a large part of their self-consciousness. The more panicky she react when her hair suddenly hangs in bunches in the comb. The frustration potential is great but there is not always a cause for alarm. . "85 percent of the hair is constantly growing, it is every day a part in the resting phase," Dr. Carl Uwe Schmidt explained by the Wella Hair research that you lose so apparently a lot of hair, can be generally explained by natural growth cycles: After the breakthrough of the scalp hair grows six to seven years before it breaks down. Usually it takes then not long before the rest of the hair root is complete, and the point is growing a new hair. Eventually, however, are the roots of the work then also: "With increasing age, the number of active follicles, therefore grow less hair."

? To worry
, it is normal to lose up to 100 hairs a day - depending on the female cycle phase, it can be more. Anyway, the hormones have something to say. Not without reason new mothers lose a lot of hair at once. "The reason is that during pregnancy, the period of rest the follicle may be deferred until after the birth." But the expert is clear -. Hormonal chaos is not permanent, and with the first few months of the parent happiness is commuting the hair situation again. By the way: The longer you wear your head hair, the more severe the loss you will "make real concerns you should only when the fancy hair is much shorter and taper to a point," warns the researcher.. "Always tell a root and a tip on, this indicates that the growth phase of the hair only lasted about a year." In that case, you should ask a doctor for advice.
Hair breakage vs.. Hair Loss
Many women confuse hair loss with hair breakage. You can tell the difference, even if roots cling to the hair or not. "We even provide an infinite number of ways for hair breakage," Schmidt explained to Yahoo! Poor nutrition may be the cause, various medications and improper care here can help:.. "Especially by facilitating the comb is the breakage curbed" , explains the expert. Each hair is umsiegelt for itself, thus it leads to fewer nodes. And it has less force to be applied by the brush. This reduces stress on the hair.
Thicker hair through proper grooming
Many cosmetic products promise a full mane. But the appropriate care can really improve the density of hair? "Yes and no," comes the reply of Dr. Carl Uwe Schmidt. "Every person has a set number of follicles that are responsible for the total amount of hair. They multiply, you can not." However, the right product extend the growth phase of the hair. Thus, the delayed failure and you have, at least for a time, more fullness in the head. Wella will also products that can at least superficially a positive impact on the growth process. Deeply engaged in the genetically determined amount of hair they can not. Also on the tension of the hair can not change that. But do not underestimate the power of your hair roots: "A healthy hair can hold 100 grams, the equivalent of a chocolate bar. The entire head of hair creates dementspechend many times more, "says Schmidt. With your ponytail so you could easily carry your own weight.

Stress brings the hair to fall?
That hair is brittle, can have several causes and is often caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. In general, such consequences do but only months later felt. Because hair is like fingernails dead cell material. Until poor nutrition in the form of nutritional deficiency on your head felt, it takes several months. That one turned gray due to stress, with a certain time lag is also true: An extreme shock can ensure that cease to work, the pigments responsible for the color of the hair. The result: The hair grows colorless and appear gray.
